Turgut Coşkun, Vincenzo Barone, and Eduardo Ortiz will guide you in discovering your unique style and mastering visual storytelling. We will refine your skills through one-on-one and group shooting sessions and daily photo reviews to give personalized guidance. This workshop welcomes everyone—from beginners to seasoned photographers. Anyone eager to learn, shoot, and enjoy the experience is welcome.

1-2-1 Shooting sessions

Personalized shooting sessions with one of the three instructors to refine your skills.

We offer you a unique workshop experience led by three talented and renowned photographers. The group of 8 to 12 participants will be divided into two smaller groups. Each group will change mentors daily, allowing you to experience different approaches to street photography and learn how to approach people and work the scene effectively. This rotation ensures that you will gain diverse perspectives and techniques, enhancing your skills and especially your creative eye. By the end of the workshop, you will have developed a well-rounded understanding of street photography, ready to apply these insights to your own journey.

Crafting a Visual Narratives

Discussions on using elements like color, mood, and composition to bring your stories to life. Hands-on sessions will teach you how to use these elements effectively.

Discovering Your Personal Style

Explore various influences, review past work, and participate in on-location assignments to pinpoint your unique style and solidify your photographic identity.

Understanding Visual Stories

Learn to select and approach stories that will stand out visually, enriching your images with deeper meaning and context

Techniques for a Cohesive Body of Work

Learn to incorporate themes, maintain visual consistency, utilize repetition, and apply intentional composition to enhance storytelling.

Constructive Criticism

Participate in both group and one-on-one feedback sessions in a supportive, non-competitive environment, fostering meaningful connections and personalized improvement.

Local Guides

Eduardo Ortiz

Born in 1990 in Los Angeles, Chile. While his early years were spent in San Antonio, it was in Valparaiso where his artistic talents truly blossomed. Following the completion of his classical guitar studies, he embarked on a global journey to broaden his horizons. Since 2016, he has fully embraced a nomadic lifestyle, all the while building a robust culinary portfolio and nurturing a profound passion for the Art of Photography. Throughout his odyssey, he immersed himself in the art of street photography across South America, Europe, and Asia. From the vibrant streets of South American cities to the bustling markets of Asian metropolises, he aims to capture the essence of each region's unique culture and character through his lens.

His photography serves as a testament to the belief that beauty can be discovered in every corner of the world.

Turgut Coșkun

Born in 1984 in Istanbul, graduated from Kocaeli University Mechatronics Engineering. He works in the service engineering department of a private company. In 2013, he included photography in his life, he received basic, applied advanced level, street and documentary photography training from Turkey's most important photography instructors.  He also continues to study at Anadolu University Photography and Videography Department. His photographs were published in many magazines and he won awards from various competitions.

He likes to say about street photography: "Street photography it’s to be able to foresee what will happen. Following your feelings; waiting and patience. It is trusting your intuition. »

 

Vincenzo Barone

Vincenzo Barone is an Italian photographer who has been awarded in various photography competitions and published in numerous magazines. He is represented and works with the art gallery “Gallery A”. He organizes workshops and he is involved in the creation and organization of documentary photographic projects in collaboration with several cultural centers in France. Vincenzo is curator and does live interviews for “Street Macadam”. He is the founder of “Street Shadow Hub”
