For those armed with a camera, Delhi is not just a destination but an experience.No matter what time of year you visit, there is always something new to see and many stories ready to be told, like those of its old neighborhoods and markets like the Merced market and the Jamaica market, where we can enjoy its annual festivities, full of music and dance.
Now imagine enjoying it in the company of a resident of the city center, the photographer Arpit Saxena, who for years has walked these streets daily, always looking for new stories that make you feel the soul of his city.
In this 7-day workshop, Arpit Saxena accompanied by Street Macadam member’s Agnes Burger, you'll have the opportunity to elevate your photographic techniques and storytelling abilities. This workshop isn't just about taking beautiful pictures; it's about learning to see the world through a lens of creativity and narrative depth.

1-on-1 Shooting Time
We offer personalized shooting sessions during the workshopwith one of the instructors to refine your skills.
The group of max 10 participants will be divided into 2 groups. Each small group will greatly benefit from the support and expertise of one of the guides.
Each group, will change mentors regularly, allowing you to experience different approaches to street photography and learn how to approach people and work the scene effectively.
This rotation ensures that you will gain diverse perspectives and techniques, enhancing your skills and especially your creative eye.
By the end of the workshop, you will have developed a well-rounded understanding of street photography, ready to apply these insights to your own journey.

What’s included and what is not
Included in the workshop is the fee for all photographer guides (Local and from Street Macadam)
Not included is the airfare, accommodation, food & drinks and transportation. We’ll provide a list of preferred accommodations to participants, which are comfortable enough and well located. Also, we’ll provide great ideas about where to eat/ go out. Local costs are very low.

Arpit Saxena
Arpit Narain Saxena is a passionate street photographer based in Delhi, known for his ability to capture the vibrant essence of the city through his lens.
His work focuses on the lively corners, bustling streets, and colorful festivals that define life in Delhi and other parts of India.
Whether it's the vibrant colors of Holi, the power of Kulasai Dussehra, or the candid expressions of locals in bustling markets, Arpit's photography reveals the beauty and complexity of life.
Inspired by the rhythm of the city, Arpit is dedicated to documenting the ever-evolving landscape, celebrating the traditions while embracing contemporary influences. Through his evocative imagery, he invites viewers to experience the pulse of the city and its people, making each photograph a window into the soul of the city.
Agnes Burger
Agnes Burger is a German/Polish street photographer, with a cinematic background working in the movie industry. Focused on documentary photography and street storytelling she was exhibited in the Leica Store in Munich, in exhibitions in Dublin, Venice and New York.
She is doing the English lives on Street Macadam introducing other street photographers and was invited to do interviews on festivals with the Jill Freedman Foundation and with Martin Parr.

As our places are limited, we ask that anyone who cannot attend please notify us 3 months before the workshop date.
At that time, we will refund the deposit or the amounts already paid.
